With a robust background spanning the law, policing and law enforcement, paramedical science, military service, and education and training, I have cultivated a unique skill set that allows me to excel in diverse and demanding environments. As a highly capable First Responder and Advanced Responder, my advanced knowledge in out of hospital emergency medical care, particularly in prehospital trauma and crisis response, is complemented by over two decades of distinguished legal practice as a Barrister and Solicitor and Senior Counsel Assisting. My extensive experience in policing, investigative interviewing, and serious and organised crime investigations further enhances my ability to navigate complex challenges with precision and insight.
In my military career, I have been deployed on a number of occasions and held leadership positions as a Major and acting Commanding Officer that underscores my capacity to lead and train teams in high-pressure situations, ensuring mission success in critical operations.
My contributions and dedication to education, training, and development where I have developed training programs, published articles, and authored textbooks, reflect my commitment to advancing knowledge and mentoring to the next generation of professionals. As a former Course Manager and Lecturer at RMIT University, I was responsible for the management and delivery of police and security management programs and published numerous research papers and co-authored several textbooks.

Legal Expertise Admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor to the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of Victoria. Over 22 years as a Registered Australian Legal Practitioner, with experience as a Tribunal Member and Chairperson for the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. Key Achievements: Led and trained military teams during critical operations such as Operation COVID-19 Assist, Operation Vic Fire Assist, and Operation Vic Flood Assist.
