A Safer Whittlesea For All

As Mayor of the City of Whittlesea, I am 100 percent committed to reducing crime and creating a safer community for all.

Every resident deserves to feel secure at home, in their neighbourhood, and as they go about their daily lives. Whether walking the streets, visiting local shops, refuelling their cars, or enjoying our community spaces, safety is not just a priority, it is a fundamental right.

That is why I have already begun implementing practical, community-focused safety concept initiatives designed to strengthen crime prevention, enhance visibility, improve safety, foster greater coordination with Victoria Police, and support youth engagement programs that address the root causes of offending. These actions are just the beginning, and I will be formally taking this initiative to the Council in the near future for support.

I will continue working in close partnership with councillors, council, law enforcement,  community leaders, local businesses, and residents to build a safer, stronger Whittlesea where people feel protected, respected, and proud to call this city home.

Serious crime will not be tolerated in the City of Whittlesea. Our community has every right to feel safe, together, we will create a community defined not by fear, but by unity, vigilance, safety, and resilience.
