Today, I had the honour of visiting Barry Road in Lalor to provide an onsite update on the outcomes of last night’s June Council Meeting.

As Mayor of the City of Whittlesea, I am proud to share that Council formally adopted the 2025–26 Annual Budget and our city’s 10 Year Financial Plan, laying a strong foundation for responsible financial management and long term community investment.

We also reaffirmed our commitment to the Whittlesea 2040 – A Place For All vision, which continues to guide our work to build a connected, sustainable, and inclusive future for everyone in our municipality.

Council endorsed our updated Asset Plan, which outlines how we will manage over $4 billion Dollars in community assets across our city, ensuring our infrastructure and public spaces continue to meet the needs of our growing population.

Additionally, I was pleased to provide an update on our Community Grants Program. So far this financial year, we have proudly delivered more than $1.6 million in grants to local organisations and individuals, supporting initiatives that directly benefit our residents and strengthen community connection.

Our work continues strategic, transparent, and always with our community at the heart of everything we do.
