Our seniors deserve to feel safe, respected, and supported in every part of our community. Yet too often, older residents can be more vulnerable to becoming victims of crime whether through scams, burglary, home invasions, or even simply feeling unsafe when out in public spaces.
Keeping our seniors safe isn’t the job of one agency alone it’s a shared community responsibility. By ensuring our seniors are Informed about crime prevention strategies, Connected with their neighbours and local support networks, and Supported by community and council initiatives we can reduce their vulnerability and help stop crime before it occurs. As your Councillor, I am committed to reducing crime across the City of Whittlesea through proactive crime prevention education empowering people of all ages to stay safe, informed, and supported. Together, we can build a safer, stronger, and more connected Whittlesea one where every generation, including our seniors, can thrive.
