No matter what I am doing, whether I am performing my role as Mayor of the City of Whittlesea, volunteering, or simply out and about in our community as long as I am helping others, it’s a good day. For me, service isn’t about titles or positions. It’s about showing up, making a difference, and lending a hand where it’s needed most and doing what needs to be done. Every conversation, every act of kindness, every effort to make someone’s life a little better reinforces why I do what I do. At the end of the day, helping others is what gives true meaning to our work and to our lives.
