Last week, I had the great privilege of visiting one of our exceptional Immunisation Service Centres here in the City of Whittlesea.

As Mayor and as a parent, I have seen firsthand the extraordinary work our nurses and council officers do every day to keep our community safe. It was an honour to meet with these dedicated professionals and witness the high level of care, expertise, and compassion they bring to their roles.

Our Council proudly delivers a range of free immunisation services in line with the National Immunisation Schedule. These services play a vital role in protecting the health of our residents from newborns and children to adolescents and adults by preventing the spread of vaccine preventable diseases.

I want to extend my sincere thanks to our Director of Community Wellbeing and all the dedicated Council officers I met last week. I learnt so much, your professionalism, commitment, and impact on the lives of so many families across Whittlesea is both inspiring and deeply appreciated.

To find out more about our immunisation services or to make a booking, please visit:whittlesea.vic.gov.au/immunisation

Together, let’s continue to protect one another and build a healthier future for our great City of Whittlesea.
