Spotlight on This Weeks Local Business Legend, Degani At University Hill, Bundoora.

As part of my ongoing commitment to supporting and celebrating local business excellence in our great city of Whittlesea. I had the pleasure of visiting the Degani restaurant at  University Hill and meeting the new owners, Piyush and Mrinmayee, along with some of their wonderful staff.

From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed and immediately impressed by their energy, professionalism, and commitment to delivering an outstanding service and café experience to our local community.

I was particularly interested in hearing about their business expansion plans and the increased services they plan to incorporate into their café. Their vision goes well beyond coffee and great meals, Piyush and Mrinmayee are working hard to create a dynamic local hub that supports staff training and diverse customer needs, including upgraded menu offerings, extended operating hours, and enhanced community focused services. Their innovative ideas will no doubt add even more vibrancy to the University Hill precinct.

Degani at University Hill appears to thrive because of its passionate people, and now, with new leadership and a clear vision for growth, the future looks good. I thank Piyush, Mrinmayee, and their team for their warm hospitality and for their commitment to growing a business that truly serves our local community.

If you haven’t been lately, I encourage you to stop by, say hello, and enjoy all that this great local restaurant and café has to offer as this week’s local business legend.
