As Mayor of the City of Whittlesea, I had the privilege yesterday to visit and tour the facilities at Encompass Care VIC, where I met with Pastor Henry and the outstanding team at their Food Crisis Centre, an incredible community initiative that provides not just meals, but dignity, hope, and connection for those in need.During my time at the Community Café, I had the opportunity to sit with local residents, engage in heartfelt conversations, and witness firsthand the extraordinary care and compassion that Encompass Care brings to people doing it tough. Encompass Care VIC plays a vital role in supporting community members facing food insecurity, hardship, and social isolation. Their Community Café stands as a warm, inclusive, and respectful space where everyone is welcome. To Pastor Henry and the dedicated team of volunteers, thank you for everything you do. Your work is truly changing lives. As Mayor, I am proud to stand beside you and champion the remarkable service you provide to the people of Whittlesea.#EncompassCareVIC .
